Ingredients

Fish Ingredients:

  • 1 filet of Whitefish – Cod /  Tilapia / Haddock / Halibut cut in bite pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 3 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1-quart oil for frying

Filling ingredients :

  • 2 corn tortillas
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon glazed basmati
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, minced
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1/4  small head cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 small tomato cut to small cubes
  • 2 chopped green onion
  • 2 radish sliced

Let's do it!

In a large bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Blend egg and beer, then quickly stir into the flour mixture. Add the chopped parsley.

Heat oil in deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Dust fish pieces lightly with flour. Dip into beer batter, and fry until crisp and golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

To serve, place fried fish in a tortilla and top with shredded cabbage, jalapeno, avocado, tomato, green olive, radish and add mayonnaise and glazed basmati sauce.
