Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower head
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups panko or bread crumbs
- 2 beaten eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pot with Boiling water
- For deep fry: 1 cup canola oil
- or
- canola or olive oil spray for use the air fryer or bake in the oven
Let's do it!
Clean the cauliflower and cut it.
Place the cauliflower in a pot full of boiling water, add a teaspoon of salt and cook for 10-15 minutes over medium-high heat till it gets lightly soft.
Place the cauliflower in a strainer for one minute.
In a small bowl add two beaten eggs with salt, pepper, parsley and garlic powder, mix well.
In a different bowl add the panko crumbs.
Place the cauliflower pieces in by one in the bowl with eggs and spices, cover it well and then dip it in the panko bread.
Option 1: spray with oil all around the cauliflower pieces, place it in air fryer for 15 minutes 400 F degree.
Option 2: spray with oil all cauliflower pieces, place it on a parchment paper over a baking tray, preheat oven to 400 F degree and insert it for about 15-20 minutes.
Option 3: fry the cauliflower’s pieces in deep-frying oil until golden.
