Ingredients

  • Canned Chickpeas – rinsed and drained. Or 1 1/2 cups of cooked chickpeas
  •  freshly squeezed lemon juice(from one lemon).
  • 3 Garlic Cloves: Roughly chopped.
  • 1/2 cup Tahini
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • Salt
  • 3 tablespoon cold water

Let's do it!

Wash, drain and rinse the chickpeas in a colander. If desired you can use dried chickpeas (longer process) that requires cooking the chickpeas

In a blender’s bowl add chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic clove, cumin, water, and salt.

Blend the chickpeas on high speed for 1 minute, pause twice to scrape the sides down. Make sure it grained well.
